Free during early access

Pricing

Motion costs nothing today. There are no plans to choose from, and no price has been set for later. What you do pay for is the providers you connect, and this page lists each one.

What costs money

Who bills you, and for what

Motion itself
No one
Free during early access. No card is taken.
Finding companies
No one
The search, the website reads and the software checks in a Find run are not billed. Reading your brief uses a model, on your key if you saved one.
Contact lookups
Your contact provider
Run on your own key. Some providers charge per result found and some per lookup. The estimate shows which.
Email verification
Your verification provider
Run on your own key. The estimate prices it per check.
Sending email
Your sending account
Mailboxes and sending are billed by the sending account you connect.
Writing and research
Your model provider, if you connect one
Writing runs on your model key when you have saved one. Otherwise it runs on ours. Reply sorting runs on ours.
Enrichment table
Counted in credits
A filled field uses one credit. A field that comes back empty uses none.

Limits

Limits during early access

  • A Find run returns up to 100 companies. You set a spend cap for each run, up to $1,000.
  • Free workspaces have a monthly limit on new recipients.
  • By default a mailbox is limited to 10 messages a day at first, rising by 5 every 3 days to 30 a day.
  • The enrichment table works on up to 50 records at a time.

We also switch on sending for each workspace by hand during early access. The acceptable use page lists every sending limit.

Later

What a paid plan will look like

This is the plan, not a product you can buy. It is not built and it may change.

  • A price per seat.
  • Credits for data lookups that run on our keys, so you would not need your own provider accounts.
  • Your own keys stay an option.

No price has been set. We will publish it on this page before anyone is charged.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Do I need a card to sign up?

No. There is nothing to buy today, so there is nowhere to enter one.

Do I pay when a lookup finds nothing?

It depends on the provider. Some contact providers charge only for a result and some charge for each lookup, and email checks are priced per check. The estimate lists each step with its price and says which kind it is. In the enrichment table, only a filled field uses a credit.

How do I know what a Find run will cost?

You see an estimate before it runs, with a likely cost and the most it can cost. You set a spend cap and confirm it. Contact lookups stop when the cap is reached.

When will paid plans start, and what will they cost?

Billing is not built yet and no price has been set. We will publish the price here before anyone is charged, and you will choose whether to continue.
